- Our bathroom renovation services include
the complete tearout/demolition and reconstruction of your
bathroom with updated outer-wall/ceiling insulation/vapour
barrier, wall/ceiling/floor framing,built for strength, most
bathroom floors/floorjoists are almost always in need of
structural reinforcing which we provide during our renovation
process prior to putting down new floor decking, "builder quality
or subdivision" floors are always built to a minimum building code
and may flex and cause cracking of your tile and grout in future,
we eliminate this potential problem using the proper strength
materials. Electrical(new wiring circuits/runs for
general bathroom usage are almost always needed due to
todays' power requirements in the bathroom), we solve the
bathroom ventilation issues(high quality, silent
continuous-duty fans that prevent the growth of moulds
and improve your bathrooms air quality), interior wall
modifications & plumbing relocations if necessary or desired
are provided by us.
- We can use either your existing
bathroom layout(leaving the fixtures in their current
locations and updating them) or design a new, more
efficient layout for you( often moving toilets, tubs
sinks around to maximize efficiency), almost anything is possible
in the design/build process for your bathroom renovation and
is dependent solely on your budget and desires. We are
often asked to add into the bathroom area
footprint adjacent closets/bedrooms by moving
walls to create a larger, more
spacious bathroom area and this modification will give
you a superb, spacious bathroom. Often closets can be created
elsewhere in the bedroom away from the bathroom footprint
efficiently by reframing them in in a new
location.
- Basement bathrooms can be created
and built out of your present unused/underutilized
existing basement space and will add much comfort/convenience for
your family as well as adding tremendous value to your
home(any additional bathroom especially in basement locations add
significantly to your homes overall worth). We can also convert
your existing two-piece basement washrooms into 3/4 piece ones for
better functionality by adding a shower or tub or
both.
- Wheelchair-accessible
bathrooms and/or universal-access bathrooms can be designed
and constructed by us as well depending on your mobility
needs both for now or the future. Many seniors today wish to
remain in their own homes as long as possible and a
"senior-friendly" ergonomically designed bathroom(ie barrier-free
or shower with built-in bench) is a critical requirement
to facilitate that wish. We can also install step-through
tubs if you wish.
- We now offer custom built-in cabinetry
for your home theatre system, bedroom or anywhere throughout your
home.
- All plumbing, electrical and
associated services are done by Artisans'
licensed tradesmen only(e.g. our licensed plumber does all
the plumbing in your bathroom, we do not use a general renovator
for this, likewise for electrical, all our work is done carefully
